Tunnel Survey & Design Institute received a prize (Nissan Business Sedan) from the Employer of MRT project, Nanyang Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd., in Kuala Lumpur in December 23th, 2014. We’re the one and only rewarded subcontractor among the 6 subcontractors.

During the implementation of the project, we successfully applied our experiences in subway design to MRT project and achieved several optimizations, for example adopting “Cover & Cut Top Down” construction method instead of “Half Cover & Cut Bottom Up” method, which saves significant costs and brings remarkable economic benefits for the Employer.
