Invited by Mr. Hu Sen, the general manager of CRL, Mr. Tian Yunhai (the deputy director of International Business Cooperation Department of CDB), Mr. Zhang Shicheng (the deputy director of Planning Department of CDB) and their colleagues visited the headquarters of CRL to give lectures on international business on Mar. 19th. Leaders of CRL, including Mr. Hu Sen (the vice president, general manager and deputy party secretary), Mr. Liu Wenbin (the deputy party secretary, secretary of discipline inspection commission and chairman of the labor union), Mr. Li Yonglong (the deputy general manager), Mr. Fan Jianguo (the deputy general manager and chief engineer), and Mr. Men Tianmin (the chief accountant), were present at the lecture. There were more than 50 CRL employees from functional departments of the headquarters, affiliated institutes and subsidiaries attending the lecture. At the lecture, Mr. Hu Sen extended a warm welcome to CDB visitors on behalf of CRL and he also expressed congratulations on the great achievements CDB has made in its transition into a development-oriented financial institution. Mr. Hu Sen pointed out, as one of China’s policy banks, China Development Bank has always been supporting the state’s “Go Global” strategy. CDB leads capital market financing for international infrastructure construction and guides Chinese companies to go abroad. It also continuously extends international cooperation businesses, develops international cooperation relations and improves China’s international standing. CDB has made outstanding contribution to the world’s economic development and brought well-being to the people.

Mr. Tian Yunhai gave a lecture entitled “Successful Practice on Development-Oriented Finance” and he briefly introduced general condition, various businesses and practice case of CDB’s International Business Cooperation Department. Mr. Zhang Shicheng gave a general introduction to various businesses of CDB’s Planning Department based on practice cases and he expressed his expectation that CRL will exert its technical strength in the future and actively get involved in CDB’s overseas planning and cooperation. During the lecture, Mr. Tian Yunhai answered several questions and he exchanged views on how CRL will be involved in international business and potential cooperation with Mr. Hu Sen.

In his closing statements, Mr. Hu Sen again expressed his cordial welcome to CDB visitors and his sincere thanks to their lectures. He urged relevant departments of CRL to learn and broaden their sight and to participate in overseas planning & cooperation businesses.
