The whole nation joined in the jubilation at the auspicious beginning of the New Year. On the ninth of the first lunar month with strong holiday atmosphere, there was good news from CRL that CRL got four design contracts in the just-finished design bidding of Rail Transit Lines B1 and Z2 of Binhai New Area of Tianjin, including the general contracting of phase I project of Line B1, Lot 5 of phase I project of Line B1, the power supply system of Lot 6 of phase I project of Line B1 and the power supply system of Lot 6 of Line Z2. Winning the bid of the design project of the general contracting of phase I project of Line B1 is CRL’s major breakthrough in the field of urban rail transit design, with great significance. It did not only mark that CRL has the ability and strength of overall design of urban rail transit, but also proved that the CRL which has been just restructured is highly recognized by the domestic urban rail market, which means CRL has taken a historic step for realizing the strategic objective of “Cultivating Professional Brand & Enhancing Comprehensive Strength”. CRL has become a new force being capable of engaging in the overall design of urban rail transit in China. 

The total length of Rail Transit Line B1 of Binhai New Area of Tianjin is 31.34km, and the length of phase I project from Huanggang Depot to Yujiabao Station is 23km with 15 stations. CRL won the bid of the design project of the general contracting of phase I project of Line B1 successfully. China Railway Tunnel Survey & Design Institute Co., Ltd., CRL’s affiliated company, won the bid of the sub-item design of four stations and four sections from Yunshandao Station to Tanggu Station (excluded) for the Lot 5 of phase I project of Line B1. China Railway Electrification Survey Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., CRL’s another affiliated company, won the bid of the sub-item design of power supply system for the Lot 6 of phase I project of Line B1. In addition, China Railway Electrification Survey Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. also won the bid of the power supply system design for the Lot 6 of Line Z2 from Binhai International Airport to Beitang Section. 

CRL has comprehensively implemented CREC’s decisions on enterprise reform and reorganization, unified thoughts and changed idea, made positive strategies and promoted the enterprise scientific development with all its strength in the last six months since its foundation. Year 2015 is a key year for CRL to create visions and set sail. Its hard work will certainly engender the fruits of victory.
